Software components for track creation

Hello gurus!!

I have another question to ask you now. Could anybody please help me with this?

I want to setup the NWDI in our landscape here and I have designed the tracks for our landscape here. Now that the design is over, I want to go ahead and create the tracks.

For creating tracks and establishing track connections, I need to provide the information about the software components. Now my question is, where do I get this software components? I know that these software components are available in the SLD. However, since the number of SCs in the SLD is quite large, how do I associate one SC to a particular track?

Could anybody please explain me this?

Hi Buegg,

Based on your business needs you need to import the associated SCA files. but these three

SAP_JTECHS

SAP_EU

SAP_BUILDT / EP_BUILDT

are mandatory to any track created.

It would primarily depend on the type of SC you are creating.

in general we do keep

SAP_JTECHS

SAP_EU

SAP_BUILDT / EP_BUILDT

but as i said it would depend on what are you creating in your SCA. e.g if you are using CAF, you would want to include those components too.
