Unable to delete user from UME

Hi,

I am trying to delete user duplicates from our portal system. I am able to delete all users except one particular user id. Recently I configured SSO with LDAP in this portal system.

I got this error " An error occurred, contact system administrator" when trying to delete that user. I checked the default trace and this is the error.

Caused by: com.sap.security.core.persistence.datasource.PersistenceException: No home datasource found for principal "ROLE.PRO

Here is the solution to my problem:

Run Consistency Check in the UME,

It will display some inconsistence Principal Ids and Principal Roles to be deleted ,

Try to delete the user, you will receive error " An error occured, contact system administrator',

Check the default trace to find out the Principal Role associated with the userid you are trying to delete,

Then click Start Interactive Repair from UME,

Select the Principal to Be deleted and Principal ID ,

Start the Repair Process, wait until finish this process,

Logoff and log backin, then try to delete the user.

You are lucky!!!! No error and user got deleted.

Confirm if you are using UME or user mapping..?
