'm new to ep admin how can we check the performance of a system or a server without going into os.. i have check the performance through the portal...

go to http://hostname:portnumber/nwa login to the system. you find an option of monitoring . click on it.you will find the values which you need.
But i prefer monitoring it from the visual admin.

Please find a node called monitoring in the services of the server node.
Hi,
NWA is a very good tool for monitoring the java based system. SAP has design this tool specially for this purpose.
To access the various SAP standard monitoring reports on NWA, follow the below path.
1) Login to NWA.
2) Click on Tab "System Management"
3) Click on subtab "Monitoring". You will get various kind of SAP standard monitoring reports here.
