Hello,
Can anyone provide some links or any info on how to track and manage software defect/bugs in SAP.
Can we use the SAP Solution Manager module?
I tried searching , but did not get any sure shot info on this.

Hi Achyuta,
you can use the SAP Solution Manager(SolMan) very well for bug tracking. It depends on your requirements.
It is very useful with the modules Service Desk and Change Request Management. So the end users can report directly bugs to the solution manager system if the necessary connections are established.
(in any SAP system go to Help --> Create Support Message). Then a new ticket is created in the SolMan.
Afterwards you can control the change in the affected system with the Change Request Management.
(Change request and the different correction types).
