Internal note disappearing in Default Settings for items.

Hi Guys,

I have an issue with Iternal note text field in the default settings for the items in the shopping cart.

When i try to copy the text it is getting placed in the internal note field but the text is disappearing after i close the internal note window in the default setting for items.Why it is disappearing?

Here i my requirement.

We have Default settings for items in the shopping cart functionality like Simplif. Details

and Extended Details were the default data's transferred to the shopping cart items under Simplif. Details like Ship-To Address/Performance Location ,Cost Assignment.Under Extended Details we have

Goods Recipient

Category

Purchasing Group

Company Code

Location

Storage Location

and

Internal Note

I am not getting any Text by default in the internal note.If i click the Display details for the internal note, I am getting a text box for the internal note were the system is allowing to enter my text.If i click Copy text,the text which i have entered is getting pasted to the internal note.But it is disappearing as soon as i close the text window or if i try to create shopping cart.

Please advice me on this to fix the issue.

Hi Sri

Are you trying to make internal text as default.

yes it is possible to make it .

SAP Note 1164927 - Internal note not transferred from

default values.

SAP Note 941923 - Contents of text areas are deleted

after calling search help

SAP Note 816763 - Copy items does not copy vendor text

and internal note

copy the text ? can you elobarate ? is SC Internal note not transfered to your Backend PO ?

ITXT -is TEXTID for internal note
