SNOTE implementation

Hi Friends,

I have a doubt.

1. I am using SAP Netweaver 7.0 and SAP_BW 700 SAPKW70015.

2. I found a note 1168191 which solves the loadbalancing issue of precalculation servers.

3. Can anybody please let me know whether this note is valid for this relase.

4. In note it is mentioned to go for Supportpack 19.But we are not going to implement it. We are planning for manual implementation of note.

5. If so, then do we have to implement SNOTE of 1168191 and then the corrections mentioned inside?

6. Also please let me know whether the note 1275837 is valid for this. IF NOT, why?

As far as I can see all the info you needed was contained in the Notes. You need to read carefully the documentation before posting.

Hi Juan,

My doubt here is in 1275837, where the note is valid for SAPKW70016 - SAPKW70020.

But our SAP_BW is SAPKW70015. Here comes the doubt whether i can implemet this note or not.Because my SP level for SAP_BW is lesser than what mentioned in the note.

Please suggest.

As the Note mention is valid for SAPKW70016 - SAPKW70020, yours is out of the scope. If this is an requirement I suggest you to open an OSS message.

Hi,

When you go in to the corretion Instruction you can clear ly see thet this note is valid to support Pack

SAPKW70014-SAPKW70018

And the note has three Prerequisites

0001074272 Error in the precalculation server (read long text first)

0001156450 Enhancement of message log in precalculation

0001168191 Load distribution on the precalculation server

So they should be in your system before you apply the new Note 1168191 ,If not then snote will ask you get hese notes.So please check that all the Prerequisites are in favour of your system.

As far as i think you should not implement then note as it is valid to Suport pack SAPKW70016-SAPKW70020 and you at SAPKW70015.

To confirm you can open message with sap .

721: Precalculation server &1 with &2 free instances selected.

Let ma know whether i have to do the manual creation of message class first and then go for SNOTE to implement note 1168191.

Also please suggest whether we realy need to implement related notes 1166221 & 1136884.
