HI All,
I am new to NWDI.
In our NWDI system, there about 127 activities which were not activated from last few months and developers are trying to activate each of these activities. After activating these activities we found /usr/sap/trans/temp directory is filled up with so many files and it occupied more than 35GB.
Now my question is how to clean up /usr/sap/trans/temp ? Is all these files are really required for future use? or can we delete these files?
Folloiwng directories are present in /usr/sap/trans/temp.
.B
.CACHE
.confdef
JdbcCon.log
.LIBS
where as .B took occupying 34GB.

Rajeev
Hi,
I think temporarily it stores the dependence data in temp until other activities are activated. The problem is resolved after all activities are activated. It automatically deleted all the data from the /usr/sap/trans/temp and now it occupies only 3GB instead of earlier 35GB.

Rajeev

Hi Rajeev,
1) If the activites created are related to any custom application:if yes then dont delete because if you delete those activites your custom application may not works.
its all based on our needs......if the application needs to be live then we need to keep it.
Regards,
Anil.
