File to File Scenario - Scheduling issue

Hi All,

Scenario u2013

1. In case of inbound interface for a File to File scenario we are getting the file from 3rd party source system.

2. PI will take the file from the source folder and place it in application server directory.

3. After that there is one program scheduled in ECC which will pick up the file and upload the data in to system using BDC.

Question u2013

1. While extracting the file from source and placing in the application layer, does PI actually creates the file and then start uploading in the system or it takes the whole data from the message and then creates the file.

Please let me know if you need any further information on this.
