Hello Gurus,

Good day!

We not able to print multiple copies (2 or more) in SAP level but we were able to print multiples copies using non SAP applications (i.e word, excel).

I already checked in UNIX level and I dont see any stuck spools.

Can you please help me on how can I resolve this issue.

Appreciate your help.

Thanks!

Hi Virgilio Padios,

1000% I will agree with the Ravi's Answer.

Pls follow the steps, which Ravi has given.

When you click on *Print* Button on the Page you want to Print in SAP.

Then you can be able to see the popup screen in that you can able to provide the "No.of Copies" you want to Print.

Click OK.

I am pretty sure that you will be able to Print the No.of copies you want.

Check it...and let me know the response.

Cheers!!

ALL,

Thanks you for your replies.

When I changed my output attributes to "PASS COPIES AS SEPARATE OUTPUT REQUEST(IN SAP SYSTEM)". Yes, it does print multiple copies.

But my question now is, is there an option that we could print mutiple copies using the "Pass Copy Counter to Host Spool System" attribute?

Appreciate again your response.

Thanks!

the solution is very simple.  Pull down the printer selection combobox and re-choose the printer.  The 'Number of Copies' field will miraculously becomes enabled. It might sound silly, but it works.

Hi,

In order to get multiple copies of prints from SAP you need to make following configuration.

go to SPAD

select the printer, from which you need to get multiple copies of prints.

Double click on it,

Now you will see the details of the printer with tabs like

Device Attributes , Access method , output attributes , Tray Info.

now select output attributes

there you will see Copy Counter with drop down selection. in that select

PASS COPIES AS SEPARATE OUTPUT REQUEST(IN SAP SYSTEM)

Please let us knwo if you have any other issues,

Regards,

Ravi

What printer driver do you use?

How's that printer connected (which access method)?

Thanks for your reply Markus.

Access method is L:Print Locally using LP/LPR.

Printer driver is Laser Jet.

Thanks!

Still too few information.

- Is this a Unix or Windows system?

- What is the printer driver used in SAP (there are aoub 50 - 60 LaserJet drivers)?
