Hi,

I built few reports with subreports in two versions: one uses only OLA connections to the server, the other only ODBC(RDO).

The reports should be automatically refreshed each morning.

the refresh fails and we get the above error message.

If I try to refresh manually I have no issue at all.

Could you please help me?

I found in the notes that I might need to download an upgrade ( Note 1217589) but the link for the downloads keeps on failing.

I am using Crystal 2008

Thanks in advance for the assistance

Valentina

Hi Markus

I just finihed downloading, bu the read me file says that in case this is the wrong fix there might be more issues then before.

Do you have any alternative solutions?

If this is SQL Server then this error code means "Login failure".

Note 1217766 - Err Msg: "Logon failed"Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for SQL Server"

may help in this case.

Hi Markus

new to the site so maybe I am searching in the wrong way but when I search under SAP Support Notes , or using the all option, I cannot get any note.

I tried using the advance search entering just the note number and still there are no result for the search

thanks

Or use a direct link to the note:

https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1217589

https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1217766

Enter your S-User and it should work.

Is this a user starting with an "S"? If not, then it's not the right user.

To access those notes your used ID must be linked to a contract @ SAP.
