I am checking my jobs in SM37 is the program RSA1QDEL run to delete an entry from the RSA7 queue? Thanks

its documentation says

"Deletion Report for Delta Queue"

Confirms your statement.

I saw the code and I think it does following..

-opens an application log.

-deletes data from delta queue for that datasource.

-writes application log.

you are right.

you can also check these in transaction se38 by giving the program name.
