Difference between trader and seller

Hi All ,

First of All ,i apologise for posting this question here .I am working on TSW and TRM modules,i didnt find any groups for the same ,so posting it here.

I wanted to knw the difference between a trader and seller in TSW and TRM modules ,i knw that a trader is both buyer and seller of goods ,but where is this term seller relevant when both words are used together .?

Hi there,

From SD point of view I can explain this.

Consider 2 plants Plant A & plant B. When you are doing internal plant resale from A to B, plant B is the buyer & plant A is the seller. Possible that plant B can buy from plant A which we do in intercompany sale. In another case, plant A can buy from plant B where A is the buyer & B is seller.

Like you correctly mentioned trader can be both buyer & seller depending on the scenario.
