difference bt secondary & copies windows in smartforms

Hi Friends,

Could anybody please explain what is the difference between

main,secondary,copies & main windows in sap smartforms.

already i had searched in SDN posts. But unable to understand.

HI,

Difference between Main and secondary window is:

1. Main window will trigger a new-page when the data exceeds a single page, where as secondary window is static it cannot trigger a new-page.

2. you can have as many secondary widows as you want, but when it comes to main window you can only have 99 main windows and the width of all the main windows must be the same.

These are the major differences.

3. if you declare a static text in main window it will be triggered only once but when you define a static text in secondary window it will be triggered for each and every page.

while coming to copies window you have different options

example : if there is an invoice you are printing there should be only one original copy and the rest should be duplicates in this case we can use copies window.
