Thank you all.

Server is started now.

I have tried with the following command

f:\usr\sap\sm2\scs01\exe\*sapstartsrv.exe*.new pf=f:\usr\sap\sm2\sys\profile\start_dvebmgs00_sapsm1

So SM2 system is added in Mgmt.console.

Thanking you all ones again.

hi Dear,

you did not past the dev+disp log file, so any one did not proper guide you without logs.

as you said that the database is running fine then the account is lock, so you should run this

command in SQL

SQL>alter user SAPSR3 account unlock;

hoped your problem will be solve.

Hi,

Restart server & Than login as <sid>adm & check sap services is running or not, & also check sharing of sapmnt,saploc. & try to start sap from management console. If you still did not see SID in management console. Than go cmd prompt & execute sapstartsrv.exe from kernel. Uninstall services & Than execute again sapstartsrv.exe create services.

login as <sid>adm and try from command line

cmd> startsap.exe name=<SID> nr=<sysNumber> sapdiahost=<Hostname>

Also check the permissions on share sapmnt/saploc

Hi Nirav,

You need to check whether all SAP services are starting in services.msc. Once service is started then only you can view SID in MMC.

If you are encountering problem in starting the services then check whether saploc and sapmnt share is existing or not on Drive:/usr/sap

If not you will need to set this share. (After restart some times this share is lost)

Hope this works.

Dear Uday,

Thanks for your reply.

1. Logon pad information is correct.

2. listener is also running. I h ave checked status

3. no log is generated.

In event view, when I tried to start service, it shows following error :

"The SAPSM2_01 service failed to start due to the following error:

The system cannot find the file specified.

For more information, see Help and Support Center at http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/events.asp.";

Thanks
