HI,
The error ORA-3114 are related to
comunication issue. It can be caused by network problems as stated in
note 534729. Anyway it can also be caused by old kernel and old Oracle
Client issues.
So, in order to solve this issue in your system, I recommend you the
following:
1) Refer to note 534729 and check the network as per its instructions;
2) Please refer to note 19466 for kernel patch level
and update it to latest available, including DBSL part;
3) It also a possible cause, problem in Instant Client. So, please refer
to note 998004 and update it to latest available.
As I have already written, I suspect the cause is the kernel as it is in
a realy old pacth release. Anyway, I recommend you to also check the
network and update the Oracle Instant Client.

Hi,
Please chek the follwoing
1. Check for Oracle archive log files and see if the disk space is full.
2. Check oracle laert log file
3. Check if Oracle is down, try to bring it up and try again.
