anyone having an issue where a $ is coming as a special character?

i've created my form and am formatting my display amount field as $Z,ZZ9 but my output is coming as ¤1,111 - a special character is being substitued for my $ sign.

i'm using LCD 8.0 and Adobe Reader 9

This is resolved now.

For a $ sign: set the object property Locale to English(USA).

For Ampersand: this is different issue not related to Adobe form.

I have the same problem.

Amount is a Numeric field with Display pattern $zz,zzz,zzz,zz9.99.

The "$"sign in this field is displayed as "¤".

Also Ampersand "&" in Textfield is displayed as " <(>&<)>".

I have LCD 8.01.
