As you can see in /thread/11993 [original link is broken] and other places there seems to be alot of confussion on where to store beans that are to be retrieved later (by the same or perhaps another component).
There are some pitfalls that need to be fully explained:
-That objects in IPortalComponentProfile can be deleted at any time if memory is needed.
-How namespaces work on the different scopes
-Will session objects disappear if a application node goes down ?
It would be nice to get an offical SAP document on this as there are many contradicting information at the moment.
