Hi,

We are trying to make a connection between SAP R/3 and MII message listener, When a test message is triggered, I dont see anything is message monitor whereas it says IDoc message sent successfully and get a message saying "The meta data for the IDoc type "HRMD_A**" is unavailable".

Any help is really appreciated.

Srinivas,

Review the steps carefully in this document:

[Link|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/servlet/prt/portal/prtroot/com.sap.km.cm.docs/library/bpx-community/manufacturing/how%20to%20send%20an%20idoc%20from%20sap%20ecc%20to%20the%20sap%20mii%20idoc%20listener.pdf]

Srinivas,

check if you have started the Message Listener server and check the server and client properties

test the connection too as per the steps mentioned in the link referred by Mike

Thanks

Namita

hi guys,

thanks for all your response I got it working.

When we checked the netweaver logs we found that the user was not authorized though we were using the same RFC user defined in Message listener.

The problem was with the alias_user in the client properties of Message listener, I simply left it empty and it worked
