idoc to file scenario

Hi Experts,

Adctually when i trigger the idoc from R/3 to XI throwing status error

04 which is releated to the control record

Status Records:

04 -- Error within control information of EDI subsystem

may i know what for the error is and how to trouble shoot this

Hi Sai,

-->If you are triggering the IDOC using the WE19 T-code ,Check the Receiver port ,Sender Port and Logical system names and Type for both receiver and Sender.

Hi Sai,

--> In Yuor R/3 system Create Logical system using BD54

-->Assing the Logical system to Client using SCC4.

-->Create RFC destination of type 3 pointing to XI system using the SM59.

-->Create Port using the WE21 and assing the Created RFC destination in this port.

-->Create Partner Profiles using WE20 and here Partner No. should be your Logical system name which you created in BD54 t-code.Click add button and maintain the Message type and Receiver Port details anbd IDoc type.

The above steps to be done i your R/3 system.

In XI system.

-->Create RFC destination of Type 3 pointing to R/3 system.

-->Create Port Using IDX1 t-code and port name should be SAP+system ID of R/3 system.

-->Import IDOC meta data using IDX2 t-code.
