First Payroll Run for Existing Employee

Dear All,

I have one doubt in First Payroll Run

Employee Hire date is 27 May 2005, but now payroll is implemented and from Apr 2006 is going live. when i am running a simulation run for Apr 2006, it is showing the error as "No payroll results available for 12th Period of 2005 for employee".

Can u guide me.. it's urgent

This seems to be a problem with the way the payroll schema has been configured.

1) Try finding out in which part of the payroll schema is the check happening if the last years final periods i.e. 12.2005 payroll results are present.

2) Check what is it trying to do with this result.

3) In case you identify that this part of the schema need not be executed for a specific set of employees try modifying the payroll schema for this.

Did u release the payroll for period.

Tcode:spro>Sap reference Img>payroll->country>Basic settings>Payroll Organization-->Generate payroll periods or Generate payroll perods or Define date modifiers.
