Message Security checkbox in XI channel

hi Forum,

I am using XI3.0 SPS 23

I want to use Security Settings for the Sender XI Adapter,

hence as help.sap.com says, The Message Security checkbox is selected in the corresponding communication channel.

.

but in my sender channel (Adapter Type XI), i could not found this message box: Message Security,

I can see the security settings frame, and a check box: "Select Security Profile", with a drop down for Security Profile, with only one value: "web service security"

pls tell me how to get this Message Security checkbox

Hi,

The message security checkbox here is the same as the Select Security Profile. In that profile you are essentially selecting the Message Security here in your case it will be Web service security, since that is the only message security available for XI adapter.

BUT,

how will i set the Security Settings for the Sender XI Adapter (as the document says),

Security Procedure

Issuer

Subject

Keystore

i dont see any such fields

Hi,

Once you check the Security Setings in your Adapter, then these tabs will be availabe in your Sender Agreement. The SAP help document is a little misleading there.

Check and see..
