Storage Location in SRM

Hello,

We are on SRM5.0 and I want to know where the storage locations are stored in SRM and the storage location address.

Hi Antoinette,

The Storage locations get replicated to SRM system when their respective plants get replicated.

They get replicated to SRM system from ECC system using a programme - BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_ALL or BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_SELECTED or BBP_LOCATIONS_GET_FROM_SYSTEM.

The same can be seen under Extended attributes in the SRM organization structure under locations and the Storage locations will get replicated under Storage locations tab of Extended Attributes.

You can check and maintain the same from the search help.

You can check all the Plants replicated to SRM system in BBP_LOCMAP table.

If all the plants get replicated successfully then all the storage locations assigned to that plant will get automatically replicated to SRM system.

Hello,

We want to have the storage location address in the workflow approval mail. But I guess the address is not stored in SRM so we need to look at the R3 system.

Hi Antoinette,

Yeah you are right. The address of shopping cart is not maintained in SRM system as it is not created as a Business partner in the SRM ssytem.

However you can maintain storage location addresses as Internal addresses for a business partner (Plant).

BBPADDRINTC or Edit Internal Addresses link under Administartor link in SRM portal. You need to have administrator role to maintain Internal addresses in SRM system.

You can maintain addresses for various storage locations for Plant business partners.

The same can be maintained as Delivery addresses (Address ship to) in the attributes of concerned org. units.

Hi Antoinette,

You can check the storage location description under Extended Attributes of any of the org. unit under Storage Locations radio button.

It will show the Storage locatio0n numbers for a particular plant along with description of that storage location.

BBP_ATTR_VALUE_T table can be used to check all the attributes maintained for a particular org. unit. LAG attribute shows the storage location details (value and description).
