Hi Experts

Where to configure the decimal points/scaling factor in BCS.

In former budgeting scaling factor for budget values is mentioned in Budget profit.

In T.code FMBBC, when I am trying to enter budget with decimal places, system does not allow to post and issues the following error message.

Too many decimal places (maximum 0)

Message no. DB739

Diagnosis

You specified 2 decimal places, but the field allows only 0 decimal places.

System Response

Unable to continue processing.

Procedure

Correct your input.

Regards,

Purnima

Hi,

Go to IMG - Public Sector Management - Funds Management Government - Budget Control System (BCS) - Budget Entry - Budget Entry Documents - Specify Editing Options for Budget Amounts.

Please, notice that the default number of decimals corresponds to the FM area currency you have set in customizing.

Regards,

Eli
