Hi SDNers,

In my repository I am having 1 Lakh records.

Out of 1 Lakh 1000 records having the value "00000000" for Data of Birth Field.

Now I would like to change at time all 1000 records value from "00000000" to "22-06-2009" date.

Is it possible in Data Manager. Any help regarding this..

Thanks

Ravi

Hi Ravi,

Yes it is possible to do that.

Procedure:

1. Choose all the records which are having the value "0000000" in the date field by prseeing Shift.

2. Pick the field & chnage it to the required value.

Note: Pick the recvords in bunch but d not choose all the records at once as the server might be overloaded.

Regards,

Pramod.

Hi Ravi Kumar

MDM is capable of doing mass changes. In this case select all the records you wish to change the dates and make the changes in record detail pane.

Before saving MDM prompts you that you are going to update multiple records, please confirm by clicking Yes.

Cheers!!

Hi Ravi,

create a search criteria with date of birth field" 000000" so no need to select all the records as you will be viewing only these records to be changed.change in your config setting in data manager as well for changing the records. For selecting multiple records to a particular limit(no of records)you have to increse the no of rerods to be changed.
