To,

Dear Colleague

On the sites provided you will get therotical knowledge of Master Data Management. But practically speaking Master Data Management do have three parts

1- Master Data Management of Legacy system to SAP System.

2- Cutover data

3-present system data upgradation or addition

And as you know data is raw information when it is collected collated and aggregated with proper syntax and symantic technique it provides information. so there are different forms of data, like character, string, numerical, alpha neumerical data.

And data is provided in different phases and different features and characters and place. so the database like Organizational data, Transaction data, system data, Master data. so out of Master database is subject to change on routine basis. like customer, material, customer material master data, and transaction data. so to manage a perticular data with perticular requirements their are different techniques available called as master data management. so you can use Legacy system migration workbench for cutover data, or day to day data upload with necessary steps by using transaction code LSMW in command field and you have to map the data and upload a file here data verification and uploading can be checked it can upload almost 20,000 records per working hours or more and it reduces project cost by almost 20%. The other technique is BDC That is Back up domain controller

if you want information which is practically more efficient and good as per different business scenarios lets see what you feel
