How to stop a character field being left-justified when mapped to an Idoc?

Hello

I have a file to IDOC mapping (FIDCC2) , where a customer name text field on the input file sometimes has the data in the 2nd or later position.

However, when mapped to the NAME1 field in the IDOC, the output is by default always left-justified. I need to stop this happening so that it matches the input data.

Can anyone please help?

Regards

Robert

Hello

actually I can see that it is not the mapping that is the problem - the data has already been trimmed by the file adaptor when the file is being uploaded.

In content conversion I have set fieldContentFormatting to nothing, but this does not appear to be working.
