deletion of /oracle/stage/Disk1 directory

Hi,

The oracle patch sets are applied from /oracle/stage/Disk1 directory , does this directory is used anywhere after the patch set applied, the only entry in environment I cud see is in the like .. PWD=/oracle/RSL/stage/9206 , the ORACLE_HOME has value /oracle/RSL/920_32. It occupies lot of space.

Pl suggest me.

As far i know its only the software directory through which we install oracle patch set apart from this it is not used any where further

ORACLE_HOME has value /oracle/RSL/920_32. It occupies lot of space.

Offcourse it is your oracle which contains lot of files btw what is the size of it.

It can be anywhere but Owner, group, permission should be appropriate.
