'm new to ep admin pls tel me how to apply patches for ie7 and how to upgrade my patch level..

ERROR: YOU MUST BE SIDADM to run this program..

You need to login as SIDADM from OS level and the run JSPM

Hi

You need to login to Web application page

http://<Hostname>:5<Instancenumber>00/nwa

Login as j2ee_admin if it doesn't work then login as administrator

check for system information there you can find the patch level of your EP server

OR

From OS level

Drive:\usr\sap\SID\DVEBMGS00\j2ee\cluster\server0 check for file version.txt there check for

SP-Number:

You ned to Run JSPM to apply the patches for you JAVA sysem.

But first upgrade the kernel.

Tehn the JSPM and then the other Java Patches.

to run JSPM goto /usr/sap/SID/JC*/j2ee/JSPM then ./go to run JSPM.
