TREX file system search

Hi

We currently have an R/3 and have a content server connected to it. We have managed to index the documents in the content server and can successfully do content searching. Besides this we also have a NAS server, which is basically as server where files are stored on the file system. We wanted to know if we could use TREX to search and index files which are located on the file system directly. And if so what do we have to do to configure it.

This is possible, but you will have to install TREX first. Once the installation is complete, you will be able to use TREX for your searching capabilities.
