Promotion Planning in APO DP

Hello All,

I am creating Promotion Base with let say 2 Characteristics say 9amatnr and 9abrand.In the interactive

planning screen when I try to create the promotion having loaded both the characteristics in selection and using the promotion base with 2 chars,I get the following error :

"The characteristic values are incompatible the promotion base"

I understand the characteristics present in the Promotion Base should be present in the Interactive selection,even though I am doing so it still gives the above error.

Please clarify.

Hi,

Please create the required CVCs for product and brand with location as per your configuration. if for particular product and brand you are promoting then include it in CVC and then promotional base. Allow the characteristics for pronmotional planning and do the necessary setting on easy access menu only.

You need not to go to SPRO.

Finaly if you want that the promotional values should populated in interactive planning then you have to create macro.
