Error : While Logging in portal for ESS .

Hai Experts,

I have attached all the roles of Ess both in Portal and R3 for user.

After logging into the portal using the user name and password the following error occurs.

Error : java.lang.IllegalStateException: ApplicationProxy ApplicationProxy(id=sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils/XssMenuArea/base, appSessionId=null, clientWindowId=null) has no application session assigned. Create method must be called before.

Hi,

For working ESS and MSS properly,you also need to maintain the system details in SLD.Once check with SLD configuration setting s and maintain the all server details.

Issue is solved ..

Some ess , mss and PCi patch were mismatched.

Removed all the patch and applied the latest patch.

error solved.

Have you configure SSO and test the SAP Jco destination ?

Keep in mind if you have problem in Jco connection , ESS / MSS links will not work.

Hi

JCo connection are maintained. it indicates in Green only.

And SSO ,through RZ10 i created the parameter for SSO/create and SSO/accept . and restarted the system.

but still the same error..

Any UME configuration should be done..

Under UME configuration

data source SAP_SYSTEM

data source file name dataSourceConfiguration_abap.xml.

UME configuration is shown above in portal.

or any other problem.

Hi,

Check the Connection test of the system by System administration -->system configuration -->System landscape and then select the ecc system and then test the connection.

Hi,

i checked connection test, all the connection failed.

Error : Http Connection Failed.

But all the configuration are correctly done.

For WAS and ITS , Even alias are correclty configured.

And also UME Configuration . Test also failed ...

any changes to be done or any other object has to configured...

Did you check in transaction Strustsso2 the portall certificte is fine.

Please login in Portal with that id which you have in backend system then only the connection test will get checked.

hi ,

Through ,STRUSTSSO2, certificate is correcty imported. through Visual admin , keystore is also correclty imported .

Checked all the test connections , ITS and WAS connections test is successfull but connection test for connectors fails....

can any one help in this issue...

Hi,

Please check that the sso is configured with Ecc system.

Check that the JCO are workig fine.

Check the Connection test of the system by System administration -->system configuration -->System landscape and then select the ecc system and then test the connection.
