Hi,
I am having an EP server.
It is configured with LDAP
Presently having the below problem:
The AS JAVA server is not coming up (jcontrol.exe shows "some processes running") .
In the developer trace for jcontrol.exe it says
[Thr 4056] JStartupICheckFrameworkPackage: can't find framework package E:\usr\sap\NWT\JC00\exe\jvmx.jar
I checked in the std_server0.out file and got this error
[Framework -> criticalShutdown] Core service com.sap.security.core.ume.service failed. J2EE Engine cannot be started.
Jun 19, 2009 3:05:53 PM com.sap.engine.core.Framework [SAPEngine_System_Thread[impl:5]_60] Fatal: Critical shutdown was invoked. Reason is: Core service com.sap.security.core.ume.service failed. J2EE Engine cannot be started.
Please guide what to do.
Regards,
Sumit Oberoi
Hi All,
The error is resolved.
It was due to the problem in LDAP configuration.
User ID in LDAP has expired password.
Server is up after updating the password and restarting server.
Thanks.

Hi,
Check is there any other services are running at OS level and please check is there any antivirus services are running.if yes then stop that services initially then start the java engine and activate the antivirus services later.
