CATS integration

Hi,

We are trying to integrate Cproject with CATS. We need when a user enter in CATS can only see in his worklist task assigned to him. We have the next configuration :

1. CATS classic -->profile with selectec worklist, in process, from project assigment (not selected 'enter for several personnel number')

2. Personnel number (PA30) assigned to SAP user

3. BP is created to this user as employee and as resource (cproject)

4.Projected created in cproject ( project type has selected register times with CATS)

5. BP is assigned to a task of the project in a period.

6.This employee enter in CAT2 and he does not see the corresponding task.

Really I am not sure what it is wrong in our configuration. Could anyone help me to fix this issue?

Hello, I have also a problem with the worklist.

It shows all projects/tasks.

I miss projects/task from projects with an end date more than a year ago.

so fe. 2016-01-22, projects/tasks earlier than 2016-01-22 are not shown.

Is this a parameter? How can I solve this?

Hi,

I forgot mention than cproject and CATS are in different systems but ALE conexions are configured.

I check report but the results is not helpful for me.

Hi,

ALE is only required if you have cProjects and R/3 in different systems, if both are in the same system no need to build ALE.

may be you can report Product error if you are sure about ALE Settings

Also check the ECC version: SAP ECC 6.0 EhP03

Hi,

we had the same problem. The error for us was in the ECC system. The worklist is created there, so we debugged that.

We are on version 6.0 and as of EhP3 there is some extra code to get the worklist from the cProjects system.

If you are not on EhP3 yet (like us) there are also options!

1. check the project user status in CJ20n in ECC. user status shouldn't be BLCK (should be BOOK)

2. make sure the a task was assigned to the role

3. push worklist in CRM using Tcode ztime_worklst

4. check se16 in ECC, ztable for the resource's worklist

1) I am using aacounting integration with WBS ( and this working fine, at least in costs)

2) Confirmation through CATS is checked in the Project type.

3) Time recording is using Tasks

4) Data Entry Profile "FROM PROJECT ASSIGNMENT & WITH WORKLIST are selected.

5) DPR_CONF_LI is empty

I am going to use report Z_CAT2_CPRO_ANALYSE in order to help me to find the issue, but Niranjan is it correct DPR_CONF_LI is empty ?

HI Sara,

To clarify the relationship between CAT2 and table DPR_CONF_LI .

If the configuration is set correctly, (see report Z_CAT2_CPRO_ANALYSE), the user get the work list in CAT2 displayed.

After the user input the value in CAT2 (in ERP system) and SAVE, and every thing works fine, e.g. ALE, records are stored in table DPR_CONF_LI (in cProject system).

In other words, the record of dpr_conf_li is the result of CAT2.

thanks for ur info. I get my worklist in cats but still DPR_CONF_LI table in cProjects system is emply.

What is exact procedure. when the information getting trasfered to DPR_CONF_LI table.

I have released, approved and trasfered to CO and can see the cost in my WBS. still my DPR_CONF_LI table is empty.

Hi,

is the Businnes Partner connected to the HR person? Check for this the tab "identification" in transaction BP with role "employee".

Hi,

There are few setting in the configuarion which needs to considered.

1) Time confirmation through CATS needs to be checked in the relevant Project type.

2) If you are creating Project in R/3 from cProjects, then the Time Recording should be "TASKS", If you are creating CO Internal order in R/3 then the Time Recording should be "PROJECT ROLES" in the relevant "Project Type" setting..

3) Accouting Intergration should be active with required settings.

4) Comming to the Data Entry Profile "FROM PROJECT ASSIGNMENT & WITH WORKLIST" needs to be checked in the Worklist screen.

once these settings are intact then you can find the tak assignment in the Worklist.

Make sure whether controling object, Project or Internal order is created already for before carrying out the same.

I Hope you have Account integration active.

Its mandatory for CATS use.

if acc integration is active then check table DPR_CONF_LI

You can try to run a report which will give you error:
