BW Statistics

hi all,

i've installed the BW Statistics for a few selected cubes and attached the role saP_BW_TCONT to the user id who would execute the queries... and then went into the workbooks and checked one of the workbooks, its saying no entry exists...

i don't see the tab Technical Content itself under the InfoAreas tab in the BEx query designer.. its only under this tab, would the InfoCube 0BWTC_CO2 exists and it is for this cube that i need to check the queries and analzye its performance... but then am not seeing the Technical Content itself under the InfoAreas tab... wat could be the reason for this...

could anyone please guide me through this...

Expecting a reply at the earliest...

Thanks & Regards

Manick,

First of all make sure you installed BW statistics cubes properly.Check this

0BWTC_C02 BW Statistics – OLAP Used for reporting performance

The BW Statistics – OLAP InfoCube contains the data that is generated as a result of executing the queries. The reporting authorizes for this InfoCube, for example, how often certain InfoCubes or queries are used. In addition, detailed information is available for runtimes and data volume, for example.

There are no specific queries on this basic cube.

MUltiprovider 0BWTC_C10 will make use of the key figures availalable in this basic cube in the queries

hi sat..

you mean to say, that when we click on the create button, we would see the technical content and the Cubes within it???? can u clarify me on whether this is what u r saying...

and also... why do u need to create new queries when u'll have standard queries which come along with these standard infocubes... won't there be a set of 4-5 queries which comes along with the cube 0BWTC_CO2 as predefined???

Kindly clarify me on the above...

Thanks & Regards
