Hello Everyone,
Is there a way to change the message type on open tickets? Currently we have a lot of SLF1 messages open that we would like to have categorized as SLFN messages but we don't want to have to close then reopen the message. Is there a way to convert these in the Service Desk?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

No, it's not possible to change the transaction type for a created document.
Therefore it's not possible to convert messages from SLF1 into SLFN.

Hi,
When msgs are still in status open, I believe these are currently active. For service desk msgs, consisting of both CRM and ABAP type msg mechanism. Therefore I do not think if you still have them open and a direct conversion may create inconsistencies. Perhaps a better way is to consider closing and archiving them.
Hope this helps.
Cheers
