Our company wants to have the return order (RE, ZRE order type) lines relevant to MRP, to show as the qty incoming to MRP calculation. Is it possible to do so? To show it just a receiving item in MD04, just a incoming PO?
Hi,
Normally the return stock should not take into consideration for MRP relevant, but if you want to do it, you should define a new schedule line category with t-code VOV6 and make it relevant to MRP, then assign the item category of return order!
Good luck

hello again.
Tao Zhang is quite right about the MRP setting in the schedule line. but you must also support this with settings in the availability check so that the relevant stock classifications (e.g. blocked, QI, returns, etc.) should also be taken into consideration.
in best practice, however, returned stocks (unless moved back to unrestricted) should not be MRP relevant as these are not "deliverable" to the customers.

hello, friend.
i have not tried this, but i think it is possible.
in SAP default, inside the schedule lines for returns the movement type is for the returned material to be received in blocked/QI/etc. stocks. perhaps if you define and assign a schedule line with a movement type that receives the returns into unrestricted, then this should be picked up in MRP.
