can't login using sap4rails with nwrfc

Hello,

I am trying to get the Admin.SAPNW demo app tested on a 64 bit Ubuntu linux system

I setup nwrfcsdk for linux 64 bit version (NWRFC_2-20004549.SAR)

built and installed all the required gems

sap4rails (0.15)

sapnwrfc (0.21)

saprfc (0.37)

sapwas (0.12)

..

start the server and try loading default page, I get

...

[SapUser] Connection error: {"code"=>4, "message"=>"Name or password is incorrect (repeat logon)", "key"=>"", "error"=>"RFC connection open failed "}

...

I checked, the user name and password are passed correctly and are valid..

Any ideas on what to try to resolve this issue?

the issues went away since we switched to a different SAP install.
