SRM-MDM ABAP API

Hi,

I am new to SRM, I need to get data to SRM server from MDM system.

DO I need to install, ABAP API to get the data. Or any other way to do that.

Requirement is from Web Dynpro screen user will enter category, classification and time type , based on this fields I need to get the price to the webdynpro screen, from the MDM system.

Please advice me the best approach.
