IBase / Component for service desk messages

Hi experts,

we implement the service desk and facing the following problem:

if a message is created from a satellite system we would like the fields IBASE/component within the message to be filled during the creation of the message with the right ibase/component as it is defined in trans. IB52 . Instead of that we have zeros in both fields.

Has someone any ideas how to solve this?

Hi,

Please ensure when in IB52, prior to selecting "1" as input , press F8 to check your current ibase selections, meaning to say there should not be any duplicates around; otherwise this may confuse the system.

Our Installed ibase has number 77 and I checked that the systems are unique.

Hi Roula,

I am facing the same problem when i raise a message from BI but when i raise a message from ECC box iBASE/ component gets automatically assigned. Please let me the components for which you raised the SPS, Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

You need to generate the ibase components.

Go to tcode : DSWP open your solution --> Edit --> Initial data transfer for ibase

This will generate the ibase components for the systems in that particular solution.

If the old ibase is existing then it will overwrite, duplicate ibases wont be created.

I too faced the same issue earlier, i just Regenerated all the ibases from the Solutions once again, now it is working fine.

Roula, to add the BP from the ibase:

Tx ib52, installation numer "1", select the instance where you add the BP`s, in the menu "GO TO", select "PARTNER", fill the different functions (ex. Sold to party).
