Hi,

Check the bin status using LX03 and WM satus using LS26. Bin can be entered manually if Full WM is not defined. If system is not suggesting the souce bin/destination bin then check the stategies of putaway and stock removal.

This error can also appear when there is no stock. You may also explore that angle.

Hi Indraneel,

If you are doing a Stock Placement/Putaway then your Source Storage bin will be an Interim bin which we have to assign for the WM mov.types (SPRO - LE - WM - Activities - Define Mov.types)

If you are doing a Stock Removal then your Source Storage bin will be determined by the system based on 3 factors.

1. Stock Removal Strategy which you have defined for your WM mov.type.

2. Storage type Search.

3. Storage Bin Search

Note:

If your facing this error when you create a TO, then Goto - Environment Tab in the Menu there you can find Storage bin Search log which will give you a clear picture of the error.

Hope its clear.

Hi Indraneel,

The source storage bin is linked to movement type.

You can find the same in the below customising path :

SPROLogistics ExecutionWarehouse ManagementActivitiesTransfers--Define Movement Types

For some movements u find destination and for some source storage bin.

Do let me know the process u are carrying out , so that i can help u to some extent.
