Hi,
when overriding the join condition, you can still use outer joins but not over the Outer join checkboxes rather by using the outer join syntax for your DB server in the custome join condition you typed in.
eg. in Oracle you should use the operator

Hi,
If you want to use outer joins in the universe then you have to able a parameter option which is under Universe -> Parameters -> (Check box not sure ) Enable ANSI 92 option then only we can use outer joins in BO. IF you are using Oracle as Database then you for outer joins we can use instead of Ouetr join keyword.

Suresh Aluri.
