change tracker iview - table field null on event from result set iview

Hi Friends,

We configured the change tracker iView. We created a result set iview and created a custom event with event name with below details.

custom event name - change history

event type - epcf recordevent

target / eventname - ShowChangeHistory

namespace - urn:com.sap.mdm.appl

autofire - yes

parameter format - standard

-

mapped field -

Parameter name

-

[Permanent Record Id]-----searchrecords

[TableId]------searchtable

Now the problem we have is, result set is sending both the permanent record id, table name. Change tracker iview able to catch the Permanent record id (it is filling record field properly with this value) but table dropdown field is cleared and couldnt catch this value from the event of resultset.

Initially we see the table value in the dropdown box of change tracker iview but on click of the record on the resultset iview we dont see any values in the table dropdown box.

Does anyone know why it is behaving like this.

Thanks,

Raags

The event properties are described in the MDM Portal Content Development Guide

You sure have followed that, there was a similar known issue and was fixed with SP5. There is an additional patch released for it.

Which version of MDM you are on?

make sure you have the latest version of MDM Web UI sca.

I am on MDM71 SP02, there is a similar issue. on firing the from the result set iview, the Table Drop down filters down to only main table, doesnt show any tuple/lookup tables. SAP has asked for raising a change request for incorporating tuples/lookup tables. that means, the functionality is not there.

Hi Nitin,

Yes, we did followed all the notes. We are on SP6 latest patch with hotfix. So, we opened OSS Message with SAP. Hopefully it will get solved soon. Thanks for your time.

It is solved - We have been testing it on preview.. but after putting it into the Portal Role then it started working.

Thanks
