Hi All,
I am trying to learn GP and for that I am going through this link...
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp2005/helpdata/en/08/d88041a17e060de10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm
The worst part is I never worked on DCs as well. So As given in the help doc, I created a local DC(I am not sure whether I have to create a local DC or not), after that I have to add a used to this DC. DC which I have to add is *caf/eu/gp/api/wd * but when i browse in local developments under caf node or any other node, i am not able to find this DC. Do I have create a remote DC (really sorry if this naming convention is wrong, please do correct me if so) and then do i have create a track for the DCs which I have to add....
Please help.
Regards,
SrinivaS
Hi Srinivas,
You can find "caf/eu/gp/api/wd" under the node sap.com_SAP-EU_1 --> caf/eu/gp/api[sap.com]. It presents default under Active version.
go through the doc below for more reference.
regards,
Sandeep.

Hi Srinivas,
The track is used only in the case of NWDI (Netweaver Development Infrastructure). NWDI is a environment for source control, central build and transportation.
There is a presentation and webinar on NWDI concepts:
The GP related dc you should be able to find in the SAP_EU software component under Local Development.
In case of NWDI, the SAP_EU component has to be added to the track. As the track also provides maintains the latest dependencies for a DC.
