ECC 5.0 or ECC 6.0

Hi,

At this moment we’re starting an upgrade project from 4.6b. We don’t know about what version implement Ecc 5.0 or Ecc 6.0. Do you have any recommendation?

I would personally go with the latest version .. However, you can read some interesting white papers at

SAP ECC 6.0 is the central component of mySAP ERP 2005 solution, and nowmySAP ERP 2005 solution is an active ramp-up,which means that the

solution is only released for Ramp-up customers.The ERP 2005 solution

will be released for all customer when the Ramp-up phase is completed

(planned date may 2006).If you decide to participate in a Ramp-Up

project,please contact your local Account Executive for further

information.

Latest version available is ECC6.0. Since you are going for Upgrade it's better Idea to go for latest one rather than one before the latest.
