Sales contract status - not referenced

We have created a Z copy (exact) of sales contract type CQ and a Z copy of sales order type OR.

We've configured completion rule C in the contract item category and the copy control (also copied from the CQ to OR) includes the update document flow setting.

However, when we do this, the ZCQ status is not updated when we create a sales order from it.

Any tips/ideas on what we might be missing?

First check that the Item category which you have maintained while Copy Control is the same in Contract also.Then Go to VTAA between ZCQ to ZOR,at Item level,maintain the Item Category at Sales Order also which would be same in your Sales Order.

Also check in Copy Control that Document Flow "2" is maintained between CQ - OR.It means ,you can see the Sales Order in Document Flow of Contract.
