Capacity usage in SNP PPM's

When I am trying to look at capacity data in Planning Book - Capacity view.

the ppds orders do show the correct values (in hours). however, the snp orders shows the value in days.

it is not useful. because if there are buckets in which both the order types are present (SNP and PPDS), the capacity usage in the planning book in hours would be inaccurate. Is there a setting so that the capacity for snp orders can be shown what it actually is (96 hours instead of 4). what it means by 4 could be 4 days. but then how can one say. teh capacity view does not specify. so the percent utlization becomes garbled. Am i missing something?

Hi

One suggestion is you can carry out capacity levelling before conversion of SNP orders to production orders so that all orders in capacity view will be of 100% SNP so that view will be unique.

Please confirm whether is it workable for you.

Hi,

I belive the smallest value that can be used in SNP is 1 day,so if you want to calculate the capacity leveling in SNP you need to use the day as the basis for your calculation,as for PPDS you can do the capacity leveling in Detaield scheduling.
