Hi,

We are getting the following error when scheduling any task from DB13:

Execute logical command BRCONNECT On host ITECR3PRDDB

BR0152E Environment variable ORACLE_SID is not set

BR0806I End of BRCONNECT processing: ceauusal.log2009-06-16 21.02.03

BR0280I BRCONNECT time stamp: 2009-06-16 21.02.03

BR0804I BRCONNECT terminated with errors

External program terminated with exit code 3

BRCONNECT returned error status E

Job finished.

The DB and CI servers on different hosts with windows server.

The SAPXPG_DBDEST_.. is working fine.

The oracle version is 10.2.0.4 and SAP 4.7.

The ORACLE_SID is set properly also in system variables on both hosts.

We have recently upgraded to 64 bit.

Kindly suggest.

Regards,

Rahul.

If you are running DB13 under Windows, this will be done as user SAPService<SID>. Check this user's environment!

Did you login with sidadm via command prompt and try executing brconnect? Also try executing set command to cross check variable is set correctly.
