What exactly the diff bitween SE61(R/3 Documentation) and SO10 transaction

Hi Experts,

What is the diff bitween SE61 and SO10 Transactions

How to write bold text using these 2 transactions.

Can any one help me my issue.

Hi,

In SE63, we just create the F1 Help or Documentation Help text.

Eg: Creating Documentation for stnd. Data Types (eg: matnr, vbeln). we can check with SE11 data element documentation.

whereas S010 is used when we need to display some TEXT in Scripts/Reports etc...we first create the Standard Text in SO10 with TEXT NAME, TEXT ID, OBJECT & LANGUAGE and then we call this text element in the script using TEXT NAME, TEXT ID, OBJECT & LANGUAGE to display it.

if you want to create a text with ur requirement & no standard paragraph formats is fullfilling ur rqmnt in SO10 then you need to create a New Style in SE72. then u need to assign this Paragraph format to your Text.

Hi

Se61 is for diagonise objects. Its mainly used in POP_UP_TO_CONFIRM FM.

you can write your text in so10.

To write your text in bold, call the text in so10 and the character and paragraph formats to that text module. In smartform also you have the option to call the text and change its font accordingly.
