Please check the note mentioned below.

Note 722514 - Reasons for SAP-RC=223

Note 532918 - RFC trace generation scenarios.

Please also check that saposcol is running.

Please check the entry in services file of both the host.

sapmsSID 36XX/tcp

Please also check this post

@Rishi,

I have verified the note but it is not useful. My OS collector is running in all server as well as i am able to see the data in ST06 of DB server also. Entry in service file is also available.

@Nitin,

Sorry i didnot said that my servers are on Linux.

I am not able to understand that do i need to configure a gateway on database machine or not

Hi,

Please check if you can ping xxx.xxxxx.com. If the ping works then try to

telnet as follows:

telnet xxx.xxxxx.com 3300 (Port)

If not then please contact your network team, this is a network issue,

I am able to ping the server, and telnet is not working becuase there is not application running on DB server on port 3301 or any other port .

Thanks for reply. Actually that was my understandding problem. Data is avalilable in ST06N, as there is no Sap instance running on Database server so it is not coming into under System tab, it is coming into Hosts tab.

Hi,

Goto your SAP server. Run in in "SAP System Management Console"

There, goto your system -> hostname -> current status -> r3services ->gateway summary.

You will see the status; green, yellow, or red.

If you need more help, please let me know.
