Even though it is monthly

Yes Its right. We have different manufacturing locations and one corporate office. We are required to upload the time attendance data functionally from all the manufacturing locations.

In and all, the employee count will be above 3000 employee frm all over locations.

One more thing, a HR person can collect the time attendance data from attendance data capturing software. Which is in an Excel sheet. What would be the steps for upload the same through LSMW ?

Kindly note that, our company is not havning ESS.

Thanks in advance

Hi

I there any way, how to import attendance data (for many employers) from external attendance system to SAP? (How file typu for import are supported? Is there some pattern file?)

Or I must create my own program for this?

Thank you

thanks dear for your support

do you mean its ABAP work not HCM functional ?? cause I need to know to transfer the data from the machine to SAP (for example into infotype 2011)

thanks in advance

Hi,

Functionally it is possible but it will be very complex and it may include IDOC.

Now a days no one uses that standard functionality to upload machine punches.

Hence, You may develop a custom report to fetch the raw punch details from either application server or FTP server and upload it to TEVEN using standard Function Module.

PS: DO NOT user HR_INFOTYPE_OPERATION.

Thanks,

Ketul

Hi,<br> You have to prepare PPT based on the time entry point - CATS or Time manager Work place or PA ITs - 2001 ,2002 ,2010, etc or upload time data in SAP from the interfaces through BDC program. Refer to the below links and prepare PPT.
